Yannick Mueller's Aarau EP Releases on Tragedie

Hi Yannick, Congratulations on your release of such a brilliant EP on Tragedie. Thank you for taking your time out to answer few questions pertaining to your EP and thank you for an opportunity to premiere.

What is the inspiration behind this EP? How did you come up with the name?

I started building the EP in the office of the Boiler Club, which is located in Aarau, so I was very inspired by this city. I feel very much at home in Aarau, so I wanted to put something for the people and the vibe of the city into a song.

How did you overcome challenges to this EP? If there were any.

The song was written in times of the pandemic. The biggest challenge during this time was not to give up and to keep going.

How did you decide on artists who would remix? And what do you think of the end result?

The Producer who would remix was chosen by my label friends. When they asked me if it would fit, I was very happy. The result is definitely something to be proud of.

How did you decide on the label who releases your music?

Teenage Mutants are now good friends of mine. We have done many things together. I am very happy with a release on their label.

How did you find a match in this label where your EP is releasing?

I think the technoid remix by Aarau makes the release fit very well on the label. Maybe a softer release in comparison, but I think it still fits in very well.

An instrument or device that has been monumental in this EP? And why?

I love working with my Moog Sub Phatty. All basses always come from it, so it's one of my most important instruments.

How soon can we expect your next release and what is that going to be about?

My album is still coming this year. That's what I'm looking forward to the most!

BRC thanks For Senses for this opportunity to premiere on of their releases. Thank you to everyone who supported Pasindu's track "Around The River" in any manner you could.
