What is the inspiration behind this EP? How did you come up with the name?
I wrote this track about 2 years back. I came across a speech sample about the truth when it comes to judging people without knowing them. The entire track was built around this sample, and it was natural to name it The Truth.
How did you overcome challenges to this EP?
No challenges, I kind of had the idea / melody in my head before actually starting this track, therefore it came together very easily.
How did you decide on artists who would remix? And what do you think of the end result?
Since I've worked with Transensations Records in the past and have established a good relationship with them, I did not get involved with who would join me on this release. My close friend and talented producer himself, Gorkiz chose who would take part in remixing this release. I am very pleased with the results of both remixes.
How did you find match in this label where your EP is releasing
I have a few releases with Transensations and as I mentioned earlier I have a great relationship with them and my music works well on their label.
An instrument or device that has been monumental in this EP? And why?
I do production on all virtual instruments now, only hardware that was used on this track is, MOOG 37 on baseline. Baseline / Drive of the track is one of my most enjoyed part of the production, so it has to be MOOG 37.
A release on Transensation, how is the impact of it going to be on your career?
Not looking for a big impact. It's never about one release or one remix, it's built long and steady. As long as the track works on the dance floor, the listeners enjoy it and it does well on the label I am happy!
How soon do you think you are going to return to Transensations?
With these things you never know, but one thing is certain, I am returning!
