What is the inspiration behind this EP? How did you come up with the name?
The idea of this EP was to make a very driving high paced vibe, with big atmospheres and epic melodies. I wanted it to sound "huge", to make the listener feel that he is in a very deep space, and it's a very epic moment. That's kind of how I've been creating my music recently, I try to imagine a scenario that I want to insert the listenter into. I was in a very intense moment of my life at the time I made the EP as I was trying to deal with my fears regarding my future, but also trying to make peace with my past, and I think that reflects on the melodies I created, I feel they were very emotional. I thought of Cold Forest as a scenario for the song, and felt that it represented the best of the EP's vibe.
How did you overcome challenges to this EP? If there were any.
Cold Forest and Imagination were the hardest ones to make. I was looking for that feeling of a big and deep space, and it was very hard to reach it. But Revolution was one of the fastest tracks I've ever made, and I had a lot of fun making it.
How did you decide on artists who would remix? And what do you think of the end result?
The Transensations crew were very supportive and friendly, and Gorkiz was the one that got Brenden(Dowden) and Matt Oliver to make the remixes. I absolutely loved them! It was so nice to see such fantastic artists remixing my songs! Brenden has taught me a lot with his great youtube channel, and Matt became a good friend of mine, and we ended up making another remix together later(Ruben Karapetyan - The Truth (Mind Echoes & Matt Oliver Remix).
How did you decide on the label who releases your music?
Transensations is definitely one of my favorite labels, they are very professional and have a great music selection. I hope I have the opportunity to release with them next year as well.
How did you find match in this label where your EP is releasing
Their identity fits very well with my music taste and they are all really great people that support the artists and the Progressive scene as well. I became a fan of Transensations!
An instrument or device that has been monumental in this EP? And why?
I think my vocals made a nice impact on the songs. I tried to record my own voice in very different ways, and managed to fit them on the tracks. The theme vocal on Revolution was my voice, and I also recorded a few chops for Cold Forest, so these are audios you can't find on any sample packs.
How soon can we expect your next release and what is that going to be about?
I have a lot of tracks coming for 2024, the next one will be on february. Right now I have 9 songs that are finished and ready for releasing, 5 of them are already signed, but I'm still waiting for the release dates :). I've been studying really hard and these new tracks will definitely show that.
