Facucio Lands a Hot EP armed with blazing Remixes
What is the inspiration behind this EP? How did you come up with the name?
By the time I was composing it I focused to try something new aproaching to a more melodic and peacefull music based on organic/deep house. Most of the time I take my inspiration from things that happens in my daily life and there are days that music just come to my brain and I just have to record it on my PC, It’s strange but I love it.
The name ‘’Centenario’’ is from the Street that leads to my neighborhood, when I see the name I remember going to make more music into my house haha.
How did you overcome challenges to this EP? If there were any.
Yes there were a few. It took me a lot of time to close it because I couldn’t find the right sound to this kind of music more deephouse. And also one track includes a vocal that went me crazy to fit in my mix you know. But I just let the track forgotten in my head for a month and I could fix all of this. I really spent lot of time composing it and mixing it to have it the way I wanted.
How did you decide on artists who would remix? And what do you think of the end result?
I wanted to have something special in the EP, besides the organic instruments and I thought that having a vocal would be a great idea. So I talked to a friend of mine from my childhood who is Fernanda Matilla, who adapted his voice great to the genre. The result was very good to me and Also we had some great time recording it In A.K.C.A.C Studios from my city. The remix for ‘’Centenario’’ was done by ‘’Day out of time’’ And it’s a great one.
How did you decide on the label who releases your music?
When I finish my compositions I always took like two more weeks trying to find the right label, in this case I thought forsenses would be great for the EP style. The guys from the label are very nice.
How did you find match in this label where your EP is releasing
I know the label for some years and I know that they release very good music and variated one. I thought that the original tracks could fit very well here.
An instrument or device that has been monumental in this EP? And why?
Definitely the strings. I made them with the sinthezizer and they went really good. I love to compose strings chords and music. The tracks wouln’t be the same without them. They can characterize the right mood on the tracks I made
How soon can we expect your next release and what is that going to be about?
My next release is by the end of november by Transensations Record and I have to say it will be kind of spicy. Two original tracks plus two remixes. The name of the EP is ‘’North in Mendoza’’ and it’s more progressive house style for the dancefloor.
