Enchanted Kids & Ricardo Piedra Releases on Dutch imprint - Just Movement
What is the inspiration behind this EP? How did you come up with the name?
We always wanted to get out of our limitations and enter into unfamiliar territory sound wise & glad we did. We started working on this project in the lockdown and we were in touch with Ricardo at that time and working on a few ideas. Then we sent him the fully arranged idea of this track & he immediately loved it and added his touch on the top. That's how the track came about.
It was Ricardo who came up with the name.
How did you overcome challenges to this EP? If there were any.
We don't think so we faced any challenges as such on this one. Everything was pretty smooth.
How did you decide on artists who would remix? And what do you think of the end result?
When we sent the track to Stag Van H for the release on Just Movement, he enjoyed the track and wanted it on the label with his remix. So that's how we got him to remix and it is humbling.
We always admired Greg Tomaz's work so we wanted to have him on this EP, while Mone was suggested by a mutual friend. All of the tracks are amazing and have their own strengths. We enjoyed all of them. It's beautiful and our pleasure to have them on this EP.
How did you find match in this label where your EP is releasing
To be honest we sent this idea to a few labels we thought this track would fit. And Movement was on our bucket list and we're glad that they loved this one.
An instrument or device that has been monumental in this EP? And why?
This track has been made pretty much in the box. Apart from Moog Sub 37 on the bass which is staple on every track.
How did you decide to release on this label? Tell us about how well do you think this release will sit in your growing discography?
Like we said, releasing on Just Movement was on our bucket list. This EP has a special place in our discography. We feel positive about our work & expecting great things ahead.
